Drake Bulldogs kick off football season Thursday night

DES MOINES, Iowa — The Drake Bulldogs face off against the Quincy Hawks for the first game of the season on Thursday night at 6:30 at the Drake Stadium.

The Bulldogs won their conference championship last year. Todd Stepsis, the Drake Bulldog’s Head Coach, said the team is ready to do the same this year.

“Our team is ready to go they’ve been fired up, ready to go for what feels like the last month. We’re looking forward to being here tonight,” Stepsis said.

Tickets for the game cost only $15 and can be purchased on Drake’s website . Students can attend for free with their student IDs. Fans who go to the game will receive a free conference championship poster.
