Drake football pulls off biggest upset in almost 20 years

DES MOINES – The Drake Bulldogs beat Eastern Washington over the weekend 35-32 on the road in overtime. It was Drake’s first win over a scholarship D1 program since 2007. Drake is a non-scholarship football program which competes primarily in the Pioneer Football league.

QB Luke Bailey hit WR Trey Radocha in the back of the endzone in OT for the walkoff win. Bailey finished with 380 yards passing.

Draks is 1-0 on the season and plays again on the 21st at South Dakota, another scholarship FCS program
