    Iowa State Patrol releases names of victims in Hardin County crash

    HARDIN COUNTY, Iowa — The Iowa State Patrol has released the names of the victims who died in a head-on crash in Hardin County .

    According to an Iowa State Patrol crash report, at around 3:45 p.m. on Monday emergency responders took a report of a head-on collision on County Road D15, north of 120th Street near Ackley.

    A Ford Edge was traveling northbound on D15 and an Isuzu NQR truck was traveling southbound on D15 when the two vehicles collided head-on, the crash report states.

    Both drivers died at the scene of the crash. On Tuesday the Iowa State Patrol identified the driver of the Ford Edge as 31-year-old Tevin Williams from Paris, Texas and the driver of the Isuzu NQR truck as 74-year-old Steven Kramer from Waterloo. According to the crash report, Williams was not wearing a seatbelt.

    An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
