Story County woman missing, officials seek public help

AMES, Iowa — The Story County Sheriff’s Office and Huxley Police Department are looking for missing Story County woman Lauren Matthews.

Lauren Mathews was last seen in Huxley, Iowa on the morning of September 12. Her car was found abandoned in a ditch on 320th Street in Collins, Iowa on Friday, September 13.

Lauren is described as 5 feet, 5 inches, weighing around 120 pounds. She has long dark brown hair, blue eyes, and a nose piercing. She often wears several stone bracelets and rings.
