Anna LaPlaca: This is a big year for me personally and professionally. Earlier this spring, I landed a big promotion that I'd been working towards for a long time. It's always such a validating feeling when you can prove to yourself that your hard work is paying off. Between that achievement and my milestone 30th (!) birthday later this year, I've been sizing up a few investment pieces to add to my closet to celebrate myself this year. A timeless watch, a great handbag, and a pretty pair of heels are currently on the shopping list.

How do you incorporate accessories like watches into your personal style? What are some other accessories or fashion pieces you love to style with your watches to complete your look?

I think the hallmark of a great watch is when it can make a chic statement on its own. But when I am in the mood to amp up my accessories for a bolder look, I love pairing a watch with a stack of sculptural bangles in the same metal tone. I have one curved cuff bracelet that looks especially cool against a more traditional watch, and I love wearing the two together.

What advice do you have for women looking to invest in a watch that will become a part of their milestone moments?

Take the time to figure out your personal style and what truly speaks to you. The world of watches can be overwhelming! I'm currently in the market for an investment watch myself, so trust me, I'm heeding my own advice and narrowing in on styles that I know I'll wear every single day.

Can you tell us about a recent achievement or milestone in your life that you’re particularly proud of? How did you celebrate it?

Tiffany Wang: I recently turned 37 years old, and this year, we merged my birthday with a once-in-a-lifetime bachelorette party in Joshua Tree. I must say, there's something truly special about celebrating these milestones later in life. I now have so much more appreciation for enduring friendships, and my idea of womanhood and adulthood is ever-expanding in the most exciting ways. My close friends represent the vast range of possibilities for people in their 30s: single and married, gay and straight, mothers and child-free. But no matter their background, they were all down to pull out all the stops and spend three memorable days in the desert together. I've known some of these people for three years, others for over 30 [years], and the common thread in all these relationships is a sense of supportiveness and acceptance of each other's true selves, without fear of judgment. I absolutely did not have the mental clarity or levelheadedness to recognize the value of such deep connections in my 20s, but I am forever grateful for it now.

How do you incorporate accessories like watches into your personal style? What are some other accessories or fashion pieces you love to style with your watches to complete your look?

I prefer to invest in high-quality accessories that I can wear every day and rarely have to take off. That's why a MICHELE watch is so perfect. I usually cannot leave the house without small studs or hoop earrings, and a slew of solid-gold rings on my fingers. For special events, I'll dress up my wrists with a bangle here and there as well.

Can you tell us about a recent achievement or milestone in your life that you're particularly proud of? How did you celebrate it?

Aniyah Morinia: I recently moved into my own apartment in NYC, which is something I've always wanted to do. I feel really grateful to be able to have my own place in my dream city, and I've celebrated this milestone on numerous occasions with my friends. We've gone to dinner at my favorite restaurants and they've helped me kick-start my decorating process. Having a fully furnished and decorated studio with the help of my loved ones is the best reward after working so hard to reach this milestone.

I consider my personal style to be fun, colorful, and unexpected. I always rely on my accessories to bring my looks to the next level. I'm a huge proponent of treating yourself, especially when you hit a milestone.
