INDIANAPOLIS –Indiana Pacers guard Andrew Nembhard has signed a three-year, $59 million extension to keep him with the team through the 2027-2028 season.

The Pacers will decline his $2.2 million team option for 2025-2026 and start the new deal next year.

Drafted No. 31 overall from Gonzaga in 2022, Nembhard has been a key player for the Pacers, averaging 14.9 points and 5.5 assists on 56% shooting during their playoff run. In the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the New York Knicks, Nembhard hit a game winning three–pointer with 16 seconds on the clock to help the Pacers bring the series back to 2-1. The three was the longest of his career up to that point.

Nembhard is playing for Team Canada in the Paris Olympics and is part of a young guard group that includes Tyrese Haliburton, Bennedict Mathurin, Aaron Nesmith, Ben Sheppard, and T.J. McConnell.

The Pacers have also brought back Pascal Siakam and Obi Toppin.
