The Ray Clymer Exhibit Hall and Kay Yeager Coliseum played host to the annual Texas Ranch Roundup events over the weekend.

The festival and tradeshow were held both days inside the Multi-Purpose Events Center from 9 a.m. until 7 p.m. with numerous vendors offering everything western from saddles, to boots, clothing, artwork and food.

Kids had the chance to pet live animals such as pigs, lambs, goats and even ride a horse during the kids' roundup earlier in the day. The young cowboys and cowgirls also learned how to lasso a fake steer, could purchase balloon animals and enjoy face painting.

Before the main arena events, kids got to compete for first, second and third place in stick horse barrel racing.

Thousands poured in to Kay Yeager Coliseum both nights as the main arena events got underway, which included, bronc ranch riding, stray gathering, team penning and more.

There were 10 different ranch team participants: Tongue River, Rocker b, Tule, Pitchfork Land & Cattle, Circle Bar, Bonds, Spade, Burns, R.A. Brown, and W.T. Waggoner Ranches.

There were other events scattered throughout the weekend roundup, such as a ranch horse competition and cattle dog challenge, and the roundup featured a live performance from Casey Donahew.

It all ended with the Texas Ranch Roundup Cowboy Church Service Sunday morning in the Kay Yeager Coliseum.
