    Storm reports: Another round of storms makes its way into the Sunflower State

    WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Another round of storms is making its way into the Sunflower State Friday, and KSN’s Chief Meteorologist Lisa Teachman and Meteorologist Jack Maney are tracking the latest.

    A tornado watch was issued in northeastern Kansas, including Dickinson, Geary, Morris, Marion, Chase, and Lyon County until 11 p.m. Friday.

    8:22 p.m.

    • A trained weather spotter reports a tornado southeast of Admire in northern Lyon County.

    8:01 p.m.

    • KTA reporting a funnel cloud over Admire in northern Lyon County. A tornado warning was issued.

    7:10 p.m.

    • 75 MPH wind gust – 2 NE Grandview Plaza, Geary County

    7:03 p.m.

    • 66 MPH gust – 2 NE Grandview Plaza – Geary County

    7 p.m.

    • 1.5 inches (Ping Pong Ball) hail in Junction City

    6:59 p.m.

    • Numerous streets flooded and a water rescue in Junction City per local emergency management.

    6:49 p.m.

    • 80 MPH estimated winds, 8-inch tree limbs downed – 8 ESE Grandview Plaza – Geary County

    6:36 p.m.

    • 64 MPH Gust – 2 NE Grandview Plaza – Geary County

    6:26 p.m.

    • 1.75 inches (Golf Ball) hail – 2 WNW Junction City – Geary County

    5:57 p.m.

    • 61 MPH gust – 4 ENE Chapman – Geary County
    • 70 MPH gust- 3 NW Junction City – Geary County
