Heart postpones tour, including Wichita stop, following cancer diagnosis

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Heart will no longer be playing Intrust Bank Arena in November.

Frontwoman Ann Wilson says she is recovering following successful surgery to remove what turned out to be cancerous tissue and is undergoing preventative chemotherapy. The rock legend posted to X, formerly Twitter, Tuesday , announcing the news.

And so my doctors are instructing me to take the rest of the year way from the state in order to fully recover.

To the ticker buyers, I really do wish we could do these gigs. Please know that I absolutely plan to be back on stage in 2025. My team is getting those details sorted & we’ll let you know the plan as soon as wek can.

Wilson also noted that this would be the last public statement on this matter. The band, best known for hits like “Crazy on You” and “These Dreams,” had been scheduled to perform Nov. 16 at Intrust Bank Arena, with tickets going on sale in April .

Select-A-Seat says if you have already purchased tickets, hang on to them. Once the rescheduled date is announced, they will be valid. Select-A-Seat says no refunds will be provided until the new date for the concert is released.
