WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Bissell is recalling a handheld steam cleaner because the company says there is a burn hazard with the device.

Bissell says the Steam Shot cleaner can expel hot water or steam onto users while it’s heating or being used. The Consumer Product Safety Commission says Bissell has received 157 reports of minor burn injuries.

More than 3 million of the handheld steamers were sold in the U.S. at stores like Walmart and Target and online, including Amazon.com and HSN.com.

Over 2,000 pounds of frozen chicken products recalled

The recalled devices may be green, pink, blue, orange, white, black, purple or red.
