NBC World Series kicks off Thursday in Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — The 90th National Baseball Congress World Series will be held from Thursday, July 25, through Saturday, Aug. 3, at Eck Stadium, 4100 E. 21st St. N.

Thursday is opening night. Saturday and Sunday are Baseball ‘Round the Clock. Single-elimination bracket play begins Wednesday, July 31. The Championship Games and 2024 Hall of Fame Ceremony will be held on Saturday, Aug. 3.

The 2024 NBC World Series will have a pool play schedule.

In Pool A are the Hutchinson Monarchs, Seattle Cheney Studs, TPA Texas and Tulsa Sandlot. In Pool B are the GPS Legends, Haysville Aviators, Santa Barbara Foresters and Seattle Blackfins. In Pool C are the Boulder Collegians, Derby Twins, Liberal Bee Jays, and San Diego Stars. In Pool D are the Air Capital Flyers, Hays Larks, Kansas Cannons and Lonestar Baseball Club.

Thursday, July 25:

• 6 p.m. – TPA Texas vs. Hutchinson Monarchs
• 8:30 p.m. – Tulsa Sandlot vs. Seattle Cheney Studs

Friday, July 26:

• 12 p.m. – Lonestar Baseball Club vs. Kansas Cannons
• 3 p.m. – Seattle Blackfins vs. Haysville Aviators
• 6 p.m. – GPS Legends vs. Santa Barbara Foresters
• 8:30 p.m. – Air Capital Flyers vs. Hays Larks

Saturday, July 27 (Baseball ‘Round the Clock):

• 12 p.m. – Boulder Collegians vs. San Diego Stars
• 3 p.m. – Liberal Bee Jays vs. Derby Twins
• 6 p.m. – Seattle Cheney Studs vs. TPA Texas

• 6 p.m. – Seattle Cheney Studs vs. Doc’s Bombers, an exhibition game against local active-duty military members in celebration of the military teams who played in the NBC National Tournament in the 1940s, 50s & 60s

Monday, July 29:

• 12 p.m. – TPA Texas vs. Tulsa Sandlot
• 3 p.m. – Santa Barbara Foresters vs. Haysville Aviators
• 6 p.m. – Hutchinson Monarchs vs. Seattle Cheney Studs

Tuesday, July 30:

The top three teams in each pool will then advance to a single-elimination bracket play starting on Wednesday, July 31.

NBC World Series Passes, NBC World Series single-day tickets, which are valid for all games that day, and NBC Baseball ‘Round the Clock tickets are available for purchase online at goshockers.evenue.net .

Gates open one hour prior to the first pitch of the day.
