WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — Kansas Humane Society’s Director of Communications Jordan Bani-Younes brought in Momoa , a dog, to KSN’s Pet Project on Thursday afternoon.

He is 18 months old and weighs 80 pounds.

“He’s very, very cuddly,” said Bani-Younes. “He’s very slobbery, he’s very kind, he loves meeting new people.”

You can see more details about Momoa and other animals up for adoption on the KHS’s website .

The KHS is having a Christmas in July sale from July 24-28 at the KHS Store, 3313 N. Hillside St. Select items, including bedding, toys, treats and more, are 50% off. Every purchase comes with a free holiday stocking. All proceeds go back to the KHS to help care for animals.

“It’s kind of our spring cleaning for our store,” said Bani-Younes. “Get rid of some of the old stuff so we can bring in some new stuff.”

The KHS is also having a FURst Friday Art Show from 6-8 p.m. on Aug. 2 at the KHS. It is free. The pieces of artwork up for bid will have been created by animals at the KHS. You can RSVP to the event online .
