Update: 2-year-old boy hurt in east Wichita crash

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – A child was hurt in a crash on Friday morning. It happened around 11 a.m. at 8th Street North and Glendale, just east of Oliver.

According to police, a 2-year-old boy was taken to the hospital in serious condition. There was no information provided on the extent of his injuries.

The crash occurred at an uncontrolled neighborhood intersection when a car and pickup truck collided.

Wichita police are investigating and are looking to see if the child was restrained properly.
