    Woman reported missing after being released from western Kentucky jail

    WICKLIFFE, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A woman is missing after being released from a western Kentucky jail.

    Kentucky State Police (KSP) have announced a search for 22-year-old Shannon Charles who was last seen Monday when she was discharged from the Ballard County Detention Center in Wickliffe.

    MISSING IN KENTUCKY

    The family told police Charles doesn’t have a cell phone and doesn’t know the area well, but might be trying to get back to Grayson in Carter County.

    She was last seen with braided hair, wearing a white tee shirt, green pants, and orange Crocs-style shoes.
