Milking procedures laid out for dairy cows at State Fair. Officials at the Wisconsin State Fair are taking extra precautions in light of the national outbreak of avian influenza. While the state fair's milkhouse will be operational throughout the fair, exhibitors of lactating cattle have the option of bringing their own milking claws, provided the exhibitor's tubing fits. The staff will sanitize milking units between cows using chlorinated water solution. Portable milking units will not be permitted.
Ripon College offers new program for new students
RIPON, Wis. (WBAY) - Ripon College introduces a new program to help make college more affordable and it’s called, ‘The Ripon Commitment.’. There are two paths, one being a UW Madison tuition match, and the second is for Wisconsin residents with a household adjusted gross income of $75,000 or less, receiving scholarships and grants that completely cover all Ripon College tuition and fees.
