Caledonia man says workers repairing driveway were illegitimate, police arrest 3
What started with a knock on the door and an offer to repair driveways in disrepair ended with Caledonia Police arresting three people. TMJ4’s Tahleel Mohieldin spoke with one homeowner in Caledonia who said he was duped and a representative from the Caledonia Police Department (CPD) who said that resident was just one of about 50 victims across multiple states.

Two teens arrested for Beloit shooting in April, police report
MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Two people were arrested for a shooting that injured a child on April 30, Beloit Police Department reported on Friday. According to the police department’s Facebook page, a 15-year-old boy is facing charges for attempted first-degree intentional homicide and juvenile possession of a dangerous weapon.

More layoffs at freight-related firms: 607 workers cut across 4 states
Layoffs continue across the commercial transportation and freight industry, according to a new round of worker reduction notices in Florida, Texas, Illinois and Wisconsin. It is the second round of layoffs since the beginning of July.
