KANSAS CITY — The suspect arrested in the July 17, Amber Alert in Kansas is facing multiple charges and remains jailed in Wyandotte County. Just before 1:30 pm July 17, 2-year-old Jaxon Halley and his mother were forcibly taken at gunpoint by 39-year-old Darryl Livingston, Jr. during a domestic incident at their home, according to Kansas City, Kansas police.

SALINA, Kan. (KAKE) - The Salina City Commission has declared an abandoned hotel as a 'dangerous structure.'. Nate King with Salina Post reports that the Commission voted 4-0 to designate the former 192-room hotel at 1616 West Crawford as a dangerous structure, forcing property owner Joshua Joseph of Andrea Investments, LLC to either repair or demolish the property within a certain timeframe.
