A tree that fell on Petticoat Hill Road damaged a motor vehicle and a 500-gallon propane tank. The tank began to leak and could not be shut off and residents in the vicinity were evacuated. The propane was later pumped off by a propane company.

The Anne T. Dunphy School was opened as a temporary shelter for any displaced persons. Work crews have been working to clean up debris and repair power lines.

The town was assisted by the Goshen Fire Department.
