Cincinnati launches website for 'Electrify Cincy', aiming to educate contractors
CINCINNATI — The city of Cincinnati's Office of Environment and Sustainability announced the launch of the official website for its initiative, "Electrify Cincy." A collaborative effort between city government and the community, Electrify Cincy aims to educate neighbors and contractors as the city works toward the Green Cincinnati Plan's goal.

The Metropolitan Opera has confirmed two upcoming new works. In an Instagram post, the company said, “Missy Mazzoli is composing an opera based on George Saunders’s ‘Lincoln in the Bardo,’ with a libretto by Royce Vavrek, which is slated to premiere at LA Opera in early 2026 and arrives at the Met in fall 2026. Mason Bates is writing an adaptation of Michael Chabon’s ‘The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay,’ with a libretto by Gene Scheer. Bates’s opera has its world premiere at Indiana University this fall before coming to the Met.”
