Williamsburg, WVa. (WVDN) – Bring a chair, sit under the tent and enjoy the entertainment on Saturday, July 27, at the Williamsburg 75th Community Fair beginning with John 3:16 Crossroads, a Southern Gospel group with a touch of contemporary style from Lewisburg, WV at 12:30 p.m. They have performed at the WV State Fair as well as concerts at local churches and venues in other states. The John 3:16 Crossroads members are Jeff Bryant, Bob Neff and Johnny Shores.

Beginning at 1:30 p.m., the Midland Trail Band will be preforming. The members all live in different areas along Route 60 in either Greenbrier County or Alleghany County, Va. They play a variety of music, but they mostly classic country and old time rock with a few bluegrass banjo numbers thrown in there. The Midland Trail Band have played at many different festivals, dances and other venues throughout the area.

The evening dance/concert will be provided by Greener Pastures at 7:00 p.m. Established in April of 2023, Greener Pastures is still new to the music scene, but the veteran musicians in this lineup are far from being green in experience! According to Jeff Bryant, retired music educator, David Lynch is the ..”best unknown soul singer on the east coast.” His powerful pipes and electric range has astounded the local music scene for decades. Kimberly Dawn’s powerful, bluesy voice had its start in churches singing gospel and her addition helps them play a much larger range of music. Educated at Berklee College of Music and WVW, Virgil Kris Kelly adds his jazz-influence style to the mix on keyboards and vocals. Escaping Russia during the fall of the USSR, Andrei Kharasov adds his unique take on the American genres with his Slavic guitar riffs. The absolutely solid bass lines of Jason Cooper round out the bottom end of his perfect P-bass tone. Relocating from New York City, drummer Tom Grance lays down the beat with utmost precision. His timing and groove provide the perfect framework for their musical canvas.

Let Greener Pastures entertain you with a take on your favorite songs in Rock, Blues, Grunge, Soul, R&B Funk and much more.

Following the concert, there will be fireworks at 9:30 p.m.
