Annual auction planned in Williamsburg

WILLIAMSBURG W.Va. (WVDN) – The Williamsburg District Historical Foundation is sponsoring its annual auction on Saturday, August 3. Donations are needed to make this auction successful.

Donations may be placed on the porch on the side of the building or the museum is staffed on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. and welcome donations.

The museum is located at 600 Williamsburg Road.

Directions to Williamsburg from the East:

Exit 161 (Alta);

Right on Route 12;

Right on Route 60 East;

Left on Sinking Creek Road (the first road on the left from Route 60);

About nine miles to Williamsburg (stay on the two-lane road);

When the road “y” bears left, in about 150 feet turn right on Williamsburg Road;

About a half mile at the top of the hill on the right.
