'Suspicious death' under investigation after person found dead in Canton home
The Canton Police Department, Illinois State Police criminal investigations, Illinois State Police Crime Scene team, and the Fulton County Coroner’s Office have launched a suspicious death investigation after finding a deceased person in a Canton residence Saturday. Canton police and other emergency responders were called to a residence in the 100 block of South First Avenue in Canton at about 12:30 p.m. Saturday in response to a medical emergency. Upon arrival, emergency responders located the deceased individual within the residence.
