According to Ameren, 4,872 customers in Peoria County were without power as of 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, representing around 5% of the company's 91,243 customers in the county. The Henry County Office of Emergency Management has declared a local state of emergency for Kewanee and Wethersfield Townships. Residents in these areas who are uninsured or underinsured and do not have the physical ability to clear downed trees from their property, may request assistance from the Henry County Office of Emergency Management.
