Georgetown Residence Linked to Third Overdose Death, WCSO Seizes Suspected Drugs
A Georgetown home became the site of a grim statistic this week, as the Williamson County Sheriff's Office (WCSO) reported the death of a man in a suspected overdose. This incident marks the third overdose event at the same residence, suggesting a troubling pattern. According to KXAN, on Monday, WCSO's Organized Crime Unit was called to 1221 Winding Way, where they found the 46-year-old man deceased. His identity is withheld as next of kin have yet to be notified.

Williamson County Home, Truck Destroyed in Fire
In the early hours on Tuesday morning, Williamson County Fire and Rescue was dispatched to a structure fire on Brush Creek Road. Multiple tankers and engines from Williamson County Fire/Rescue responded to assist with the incident. Fairview Fire responded as well and found a home and 18 wheeler fully engulfed. Crews began a defensive attack to extinguish the flames.
