SUN: New Key Bridge expected to be 24% taller than predecessor
BALTIMORE, Md. — The new Francis Scott Key Bridge is expected to be longer and taller than its fallen predecessor, but not steeper. A 143-page Maryland Transportation Authority document seeking a “categorical exclusion” — meaning the rebuild won’t require a yearslong process analyzing alternative bridge possibilities — was approved by the Federal Highway Administration this week. In it, the authority outlined the new bridge’s potential dimensions, which would satisfy Coast Guard parameters.
Greencastle stays alive with walk off win
Greencastle remains alive in the Pennsylvania State Little League Tournament with a 2-1 win over St. Mary’s at Newville on Thursday night. It will play Tri-Town, which lost to Back Mountain 4-1. Greencastle couple allegedly use deceased father’s EBT card, wrack up thousands in illegal charges
25 July 2024- A multi-month investigation conducted by the Pennsylvania Office of the State Inspector General has seen multiple felonies being filed against a Greencastle couple for theft and benefit fraud. Danny Reymundo Centeno and Terria Ann Nicole Reedy have both been charged with two felony counts of access device fraud, with Reedy also being charged with misdemeanor theft of movable property and an additional charge of access device fraud. Both Reedy and Centeno have been issued summonses.
