Williamsport, Pa. — Factory Works Photo Lab is putting on a workshop focusing on large format Antiquarian Photography and the tintype process.

Photographers Elizabeth Kelly and Brian Spies will lead the workshop on August 10 and 11 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.

Saturday, Brian Spies will lead students in learning how to shoot, develop, and print large format 4×5 sheet film and have the opportunity to create a dry plate tintype. Sunday, Elizabeth Kelly will provide an introduction to the wet plate tintype process.

Students will use monorail large format 4×5 cameras in both sessions and will leave with a dry plate and wet plate tintype and at least one 8×10 enlargement from 4×5 sheet film. Participation is limited to six students so please don’t wait to sign up as once they are full we will not be able to accommodate additional participants.
