Longtime North Dakota Christian Radio Stations to Shut Down
Longtime Christian radio stations KHRT/1320 and KHRT-FM/106.9 (Minot) have announced plans to go off the air at the end of July. “It is a very difficult economy that we live in, support and advertising has fallen to a level where Faith Broadcasting is no longer able to continue operating the stations,” station manager Roy Leavitt wrote in a note posted on the stations’ website and social media feeds.
Homeward Animal Shelter in urgent need of fosters or adopters
FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) - Homeward Animal Shelter says they are in urgent need of fosters or adopters for 11 dogs that haven’t found rescue yet. Motorcycle rider hurt after being hit by SUV in Grand Forks
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (Valley News Live) - One person was sent to the hospital after a motorcycle was hit by an SUV in Grand Forks, Tuesday. Grand Forks Police say it happened in the 2000 blocks of Demers Ave around 2:50pm. They say a woman named Mary Solberg was turning her motorcycle south onto South 20th Street when a Jeep driven by Skylar Reiff, 29, of Grand Forks drove through a green light and hit her.
