    Storms, heat indices to reach 100 Thursday. What's the forecast for Luke Combs shows?

    A hazardous weather outlook issued by the National Weather Service in Wilmington remains in effect through Friday during Luke Combs's first sold-out show at Paycor Stadium.

    The chance for showers and thunderstorms will increase Thursday afternoon into the evening and persist into Friday.

    Some thunderstorms may be strong to severe. Damaging winds will be the primary threat but isolated large hail will also be possible. Very heavy rainfall may also result in localized flooding.

    The combination of heat and humidity will result in heat index values of 95 to 100 Thursday afternoon. Friday's highs will range from the lower 80s west to the upper 80s east.

    Another round of showers and thunderstorms is expected on Saturday. The potential for severe weather on Saturday looks relatively low, but some storms may produce heavy rainfall. Expect highs in the upper 80s.

    Will it rain during Luke Combs' Cincinnati shows?

    Per the NWS' hourly forecast , there is a 70% chance of precipitation at 5 p.m. Friday, when the gates to Paycor Stadium are slated to open for Combs' first show. There will be a 62% chance of precipitation at 9 p.m., when Combs will likely come on stage.

    Currently, there is a 63% chance of precipitation at 5 p.m. on Saturday when the doors to Combs' second concert are scheduled to open. There will only be a 13% chance of precipitation at 9 p.m.

    Thursday : There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after noon. It will be partly sunny, with a high near 91. The wind will be calm, becoming south around 6 mph in the afternoon. The chance of precipitation is 40%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are possible.

    Thursday night: Showers and thunderstorms are likely, mainly before 2 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low of around 73. There will be a light south wind. The chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three-quarters of an inch are possible.

    Friday: There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms. It will be partly sunny, with a high near 88. The southwest wind will be 3 to 6 mph. The chance of precipitation is 50%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch are possible.

    Friday night: Showers and thunderstorms are likely before 11 p.m., then showers and possibly a thunderstorm between 11 p.m. and 2 a.m., and then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after 2 a.m. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low of around 70. The west wind is around 5 mph, becoming calm in the evening. The chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

    Saturday: There is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after 2 p.m. It will be partly sunny, with a high near 87. The northwest wind will be 3 to 7 mph. The chance of precipitation is 60%. New rainfall amounts between a tenth and a quarter of an inch, except higher amounts are possible in thunderstorms.

    Saturday night: Showers are likely before 8 p.m. It will be mostly clear, with a low around 69. The chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch are possible.

    Sunday: Sunny, with a high near 92.

    Monday: Sunny, with a high near 91.

    Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 92.

    Wednesday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 90.
