N.H. lake home, on for $625k, gives off rustic Craftsman vibe

If you felt like the only person on social media without a N.H. lake house this summer, here’s your chance.

“The house is in immaculate condition,” said Margaret Weathers of Four Seasons Sotheby’s International Realty, who has the listing.

Climb the front steps to the entry, which welcomes guests with elegant hardwood floors and jewel-tone walls. To the immediate left, a staircase leads up to an extra room lovingly referred to as the “treehouse.” The elevated space has a view of the pond and is perfect for a pull-out couch for guests, or even as an office space.

Back on the first floor, you’ll find a bathroom with a shower in the front hallway. Continue on into the kitchen and dining area, which features a bright window overlooking the pond.
