Deadwood Days of ’76 Rodeo: Preview, Format & How to Watch
It is time for the Days of ’76 Rodeo from Deadwood, South Dakota! Athletes descend on The Mount Rushmore State to compete for their share of over $300,000. A year ago winners of the rodeo took home between $$4,500 and $10,000 to add to their season earnings. The highest marked ride across all events was in the Bull Riding where Grayson Cole was 92.5 points. This year is sure to be full of fireworks.
Langford Plans Summer Fest This Weekend
Billed as “The Biggest Little Party in Northeast South Dakota,” Langford’s Summer Fest and Alumni Weekend is set for Friday through Sunday. A Block Party at Healy’s Yard (211 Hickory Street) from 6-8 p.m. Friday will kick off the festivities. A golf cart poker run will start at 7 in the park, followed by an Alumni Party featuring Collin Donley at Remedy’s from 9 p.m.-12 a.m.

Mercato building slated for redevelopment anchored by Southeastern Behavioral Health
A multistory development including Southeastern Behavioral Health and income-qualified apartments is planned to replace the vacated building on the so-called Mercato Block.
