Driver critically injured after fiery interstate crash, police report
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The driver of a car that crashed, then burned, on the interstate was critically injured early Sunday morning, police said. Memphis Police and Memphis Fire first-responders went to the area of I-55 and South Third Street a few minutes before 2:30 a.m. on Aug. 11, according to the Memphis Police Department.

Woman struck by car in Crosstown, MPD says
MEMPHIS, Tenn. - A woman was struck by a vehicle in a Crosstown neighborhood, according to Memphis Police. Officers were sent to the 800 block of North Claybrook Drive on a domestic violence call just before 4:00 Saturday afternoon, police said. When they arrived, officers said they found a woman there who had been struck by a car; they said the woman was taken to Regional One, but her injuries were not severe.
