Area Fairs Continue
Several area County fairs are in full swing this week. In Sedan, the Chautauqua County Fair is underway, and at 5:30 tonight there will be a free BBQ and bean feed. Table service will be provided and donations are appreciated. The talent show will also be tonight at 6:30. The rodeo also starts tonight, with a full lineup of events including bareback, saddle bronc, bull riding and steer wrestling to name a few. 4-H Events today include the swine show today at 8 a.m., rabbit and poultry show at 11, bucket calf show at 6 p.m. and the beef show at 7.

Early Voting Underway in Wilson County
Advance voting for the upcoming August primary election begins this week in Wilson County. Citizens of the county may vote at the Courthouse in Fredonia, which is open to voting Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The county courthouse is the only location in Wilson County for advance voting.
