Wilson County Schools has announced Mr. Carter Noblin as the district’s new Fine Arts Coordinator!

Most recently serving as the Band Director at Wilson Central High School, Mr. Noblin takes on a brand new role that’s been implemented within the district.

“Many folks in the system have been working towards adding this position for the last few years,” says Mr. Noblin. “This role allows a more present voice and an advocate for our Fine Arts Educators, our various programs, and all students in Wilson County.

With annual enrollments on the rise and continued growing interest in Fine Arts programs across the district, Mr. Noblin is passionate about seeing Fine Arts flourish in Wilson County.

“Our goals are to grow our current offerings, to provide development opportunities for our educators, have a strong presence in the community and to advocate for the needs of our Fine Arts Students.”

Well respected among his fellow colleagues throughout the district, Mr. Noblin wants to spread his energy and enthusiasm for Fine Arts to help others.

“My hope is to support educators to build programs and classes that give all students opportunities to create, perform and learn at a high level. I look forward to spending a lot of time in Fine Arts classrooms, experiencing the incredible work our teachers are doing first hand. I also hope to build partnerships throughout the community to support the needs of our programs.”

He’s a graduate of Mt. Juliet High School, attended MTSU, and received his Master’s in Educational Leadership from Trevecca Nazarene.

“Mr. Noblin is going to do wonderful things with this new district role and we are thrilled to have him mold and set the high standard of what we know this position can and will be,” says Director of Schools Jeff Luttrell.

“He’s got everything it takes to make it happen and he will further build the very strong Fine Arts foundation that we have in place.”
