ESD 3 resumes operations from Stockdale station after renovations
Wilson County Emergency Services District 3 (ESD 3) crews are now operating out of the district’s Stockdale station. This follows renovations and upgrades to the station on West Wheeler Street. ESD 3 provides emergency medical services to all of eastern Wilson County, including the cities of Stockdale and La Vernia, and the Kicaster, Sutherland Springs, and Kosciusko communities.

S.S. Water Supply announces Stage II drought response
S.S. Water Supply Corp. has announced it’s implementing Stage II drought restrictions, effective immediately, and continuing through Oct. 31, unless otherwise advised. According to General Manager Carlos Febus, this is due to the utility “pumping way over 3 million gallons per day of water for at least three consecutive days.”
