The Wilson Times
Fontenot works hard for all Wilson constituents

I have lived in Wilson all my life. I was a young man in Gov. Jim Hunt’s first two terms and a family man in Governor Hunt’s second two terms. I remember when a lot of our current city had dirt roads where there is now pavement. I have seen decent progress throughout Wilson, although most of it has taken place on the western and northern sides. I am grateful for all the changes we have had.
I am writing today to say that some of the greatest improvements I’ve seen have taken place since we elected Rep. Ken Fontenot. These are the things I have seen Ken do that I have no doubt have improved our quality of life legislatively.
Ken is an honest, forthright and consistent communicator. I have never had to wonder where he was on any issue. He writes to the Times regularly, and I find myself more abreast of today’s issues because of his column.
Ken and his lovely wife have provided great service at the state office. They return calls and texts quickly and have helped me and my friends with many constituent requests.
Lastly, Ken serves every Wilsonian with grace and courtesy whether they voted for him or not. That is the type of service we need and that I am voting for again.
