Wilsonville High School Springfest receives a standing ovation

The “reimagined” 2024 Wilsonville High School Springfest assembly brought the house down for the final competition.

On Friday, May 3, students gathered and cheered for their 2024 Springfest Court as they performed and faced off. In the end, Gedde McKnight and Harrison Halstead were declared the winners.

Earlier this year, the Wilsonville High School ASB and student body decided to change Springfest into more of a competition than a talent show or traditional ball.

The members of the Springfest Court competed in a series of games that were broadcast on the Wilsonville Broadcast Network. While the competitions were worth 50% of the teams’ total scores, their talents during the final assembly were also worth half.

Performances included lip-syncs, songs, dances and a reenactment of a scene from “Anchorman.”

The 2024 Springfest Court included Jasmine Brown, Sasha Nagy, Berkley Reents, Ella Milanovich, Harrison Halstead, Gedde McKnight, Venecia Gonzalez, Maximus Werner, Kai Guertin and Ruby Windsheimer.
