Wilsonville Burgerville set to open next month

A new Burgerverville location will open in Wilsonville next month.

According to a press release, the new location will open the week of Aug. 5 at 8699 SW Robert Burns Drive, where Burger King used to be. It will be the chain’s first new store in eight years, with other new locations in Salem and Keizer expected to open this fall.

The company is hiring for the Wilsonville store, and prospective employees can apply through the careers page on its website.

The company, headquartered in Vancouver, Washington, first announced the new store in January. It currently has 39 locations in Oregon and Washington.

“Since I joined Burgerville two years ago, the goal has been to bring our delicious burgers, shakes and fries to more Pacific Northwest communities,” said CEO Ed Casey in the press release. “We’re excited to make Wilsonville a reality, with Salem and Keizer close behind, and several more locations on the horizon.”
