At a meeting on Monday, July 15, the Wilsonville City Council adopted two new three-year contracts for city employees, effective July 1. The contracts include pay raises, but Wilsonville Human Resources manager Andrea Villagrana said no significant changes were made from the previous contract.

Villagrana said one contract pertains to those that fall under Federal Transit Administration guidelines, including transit drivers, dispatch, fleet employees, mechanics and service workers. The other is for employees in the “general unit” bargaining unit, including those in public works, the library, City Hall and parks.

The collective bargaining agreements were negotiated between the city and unions representing city employees.

Both contracts include raises for the employees. Employees under the transit administration guidelines will receive a wage increase ranging from $0.75 to $1.25 depending on the employee’s job. On July 1, 2025, each employee will receive a 2.75% pay increase, and, in July 2026, employees will receive a 2.5% increase.

Municipal employees will receive a 4% pay increase this month, as well as a 3% increase on July 1, 2025 and 2026.

Employees under each contract also could receive an additional annual 4% increase based on performance.
