Tatsumi and Anderson named Wilsonville High School Athletes of the Week for Apr. 24

Tatsumi is a junior on the Wilsonville girls’ varsity tennis team, and Anderson is a senior on the boys’ varsity tennis team.

Showcasing their talents on the court for both the girls’ and boys’ varsity tennis teams, athletes Julia Tatsumi and Lucas Anderson have been named Wilsonville High School’s Athletes of the Week for the week of April 24th.

Playing #1 doubles on the girls’ varsity tennis team, Tatsumi “is a great leader, has great communication on the court, is always positive, does well encouraging others and is uplifting to her teammates when they are in their own heads,” according to her coach. “She is a team player and a great overall person.”

Playing #1 doubles on the boys’ varsity tennis team, Anderson “is reliable, hard-working, and has a great attitude,” according to his coach. “He’s a player on the team I can rely on for help or just anything team related. He supports his teammates at matches and at practice and is an all-around amazing person. He will be missed next year.”
