    Coach: David Barkley

2023 results: Second at the Northwest Oregon Conference district meet

2024 team: Junior Liam Wilde (first at the 2023 NWOC district meet, seventh at state), senior Parker Fish (fifth at district, 35th at state), junior Brady Grant (11th at district, 31st at state), sophomore Hayden Fish (31st at district, 79th at state), sophomore Ty Dougall, senior Jake Dougall (33rd at district), senior Tristan Hamilton.

2024 outlook: The Wildcats know they’ll be strong, but they also know how tough the NWOC will be in 2024.

“We will have solid competition with Hood River, Canby and La Salle, plus excellent individuals from pretty much every school,” said Wilsonville coach David Barkley. “I believe we have four teams (from our conference) in the top 10 in state. We will compete closely for the title, but any of those four could win.”

Team leaders: Liam Wilde, Parker Fish and Brady Grant all return to the Wilsonville varsity lineup after earning all-conference honors a year ago.

Beyond Wilde, Fish and Grant, Barkley said that both Hayden Fish and Tristan Hamilton are “greatly improved,” Jake Dougall adds talent and experience, and Ty Dougall comes in after earning all-conference honors in the 800 meters in his freshman track season.

Barkley said the Wildcats also feature several talented freshmen who might contribute to varsity “if they put in good miles.”

2024 NWOC Contenders: Wilsonville, Hood River, Canby, La Salle.
