Grand opening for Boones Ferry Park playground set for Sept. 28

A grand opening for a new inclusive playground at Boones Ferry Park will take place later this month.

The event is set to begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 28. The new playground will be fenced and include turf surfacing, an accessible whirl spinner, a companion swing and more.

“We’re really excited to see everybody out here enjoying this great new playground,” Wilsonville Parks Supervisor Dustin Schull said In a video posted to the Parks and Recreation Department social media.
