The Wilsonville City Council recently took another step toward the development of a mixed-use project that includes affordable housing at the Wilsonville Transit Center. An IHOP will open in Wilsonville this summer, a representative of the company confirmed. City of Wilsonville to hold Pride Month mural reception
The city of Wilsonville will hold a reception this weekend for a pride mural painted on the Parks and Recreation building in Town Center Park. Wilsonville’s Arts, Culture and Heritage Commission selected artist Lauren Kyles to paint a temporary mural on the building’s windows at a meeting on April 17. Kyles said in an artist statement that the colorful painting symbolizes “growth, transformation, love, happiness and the connections that bind us together.” The event will run from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, and a Wilsonville Pride pin will be available for attendees to take. The mural will be available to view throughout the month of June, which is nationally known as Pride Month.
