Firefighters respond to kitchen fire at Iowa City apartment building
IOWA CITY, Iowa (KCRG) - Everyone safely evacuated a three-story Iowa City apartment building Thursday morning after a fire started in the kitchen of one of the units. Fire crews were called to an apartment complex at 1958 of Broadway Street at around 8:42 a.m. on Thursday, where they said they saw smoke coming from a third-floor window.
