Bismarck Man Charged With Negligent Homicide For Deadly Car Crash
(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck man now faces a negligent homicide charge in connection with a deadly crash that happened in Mandan back in December. Police say Keith Manchester’s vehicle veered into oncoming traffic and crashed head-on into Leo Grosz’s car. Both men were hospitalized with serious injuries, and Grosz later died. Manchester reportedly told police he was sober and wasn’t using his phone at the time of the crash, but authorities say he may have fallen asleep behind the wheel.
Bismarck Man Pleads Not Guilty To Attempted Murder
(Bismarck, ND) — A Bismarck man who’s facing an attempted murder charge has pleaded not guilty. The charge stems from a stabbing that happened last month, when police say 28-year-old Dace Littledog attacked a man with a knife inside an apartment, leaving him with multiple wounds. The victim told officers that Littledog had been drinking before the stabbing. His trial is scheduled to begin on October 1st.

Mannie steps down as VCSU golf coach
Valley City State head golf coach Clayton Mannie has resigned his position, effective immediately. Mannie has guided the VCSU men's and women's golf teams for the past three seasons. Pig Rescued Recently from the Big Sioux River Has Passed Away
Some sad news. The pig that was rescued last week from the banks of the Big Sioux River has passed away. Dakota News Now reports that a small pig was spotted on the banks of the Big Sioux on Thursday, (July 18) which prompted Sioux Falls Animal Control and Sioux Falls Fire Rescue to snap into action to perform a water rescue just north of Falls Park a short time later.
