According to New York State Police, on Wednesday, around 12:10 a.m., troopers responded to Northern Pines Road in Wilton for reports of a car crash. Before they arrived, they say one of the drivers fled into a nearby home.

Police say an investigation found Firenze entered the home without permission and was unknown to the homeowner. The other driver involved and Firenze reported minor injuries from the crash.

    Charges:

    • First-degree aggravated unlicensed operation
    • Vehicle and traffic law violations

Firenze was arrested and taken to Wilton State for processing, where police say she recorded a .21% BAC. Further investigation found she didn’t have a valid driver’s license due to a previous DWI conviction in the last ten years. She was issued an appearance ticket to the Wilton Town Court and was released to a sober party. She’ll reappear in court on August 6.
