Bellows Falls man dies in Westminster crash
WESTMINSTER — An 87-year-old Bellows Falls man died following a vehicle crash on US Route 5 at the intersection with Coolidge Street, officials reported. Hugh Haggerty, the operator of a 2022 Toyota Tacoma, sustained fatal injuries in the accident that occurred under clear skies and on dry road conditions.

PLYMOUTH – A Duxbury woman has been convicted of charges that she left the scene of a crash where a woman was killed, Plymouth District Attorney Timothy Cruz announced. On Wednesday, a Plymouth County jury deliberated over three days before finding Kristina Blackmore, 43, of Duxbury, guilty of one count each of Leaving the Scene of Injury Causing Death and Motor Vehicle Homicide by Negligent Operation.

Reports came in around 8:38 p.m. of the vehicle going off the roadway, up a retaining wall, and becoming airborne before striking a tree.
