Shelter forced to evacuate animals after air conditioning fails
NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) - The Nashville Humane Association is without air conditioning at possibly the worst time to be without a way to keep cool. With a heat advisory in effect for the Nashville area until 8 p.m., Nashville Humane reported its location on Oceola Avenue has been without air conditioning since Sunday. Staff at the shelter were told a permanent fix cannot happen until Thursday.
