FAIRFAX, Va. — Fairfax County Police are investigating a death along Route 29. Officers were called to the the 9500 block of Route 29 near Oakton on Saturday for an unresponsive person. When they arrived, officials found a man. First responders arrived and declared the man dead at the scene.

Officers were called to the intersection of North Capitol Street and Fort Drive, Northeast for a multi-vehicle crash Saturday evening. When they arrived, three cars had visible damage to them. One vehicle was flipped over on its hood.

VIRGINIA (WFXR)– The White House recently announced $325 million in funding from the Choice Neighborhoods Implementation Grant to seven communities across the country to build more homes and revitalize neighborhoods that have been left behind. One community receiving funding includes the Norfolk Redevelopment and Housing Authority (NRHA), which received $2.5 million to help lower housing costs in Virginia.
