MILWAUKEE — The horn from a car alarm jolted an east side woman out of bed July 8. She ran outside to find her car up in flames. Milwaukee police investigated the arson near Water and Brady Streets last month and arrested two 14-year-old boys. The Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office decided not to file charges.

The closure was prompted by the discovery of toxic algae by the Walworth County Department of Health and Human Services. These blooms, known to produce harmful bacteria, can pose serious health risks to both humans and animals. In extreme cases, exposure can result in illness or even death.
