Windham Radio Shack plans to close next week
WINDHAM (WGME) – One of Maine's last Radio Shack locations is set to close in the next week. In an announcement posted on Facebook, the owner of the Windham business, Neil Esposito, said that while the brick-and-mortar store is closing, he will now be offering a concierge ordering service, meaning he will still be available to answer questions, make recommendations and deliver products.

Portland Little League team wins state tournament, heads to regional competition

Driver in custody after hit-and-run incident, police pursuit in Scarborough
SCARBOROUGH, Maine — A Rumford man is in custody after allegedly hitting several vehicles and leading police on a pursuit in the Scarborough area Saturday afternoon. The Bangor Comrades fell to the Franklin County Flyers 7-5 on Saturday, July 27th in the opening round of the Senior Legion State Championships at Mansfield Stadium in Bangor. Franklin County score 5 runs in the top of the 1st inning, but Bangor tied the game with 3 runs in the bottom of the 1st inning and 2 runs in the bottom of the 3rd, to tied the game 5-5.
